Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cups 220 g all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup 115 g unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup 150 g granulated sugar
  • ½ cup 100 g packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup 90 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup 50 g mini marshmallows
  • cup 60 g marshmallow fluff (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet. Swirl in marshmallow fluff if using.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For extra marshmallow flavor, lightly toast the marshmallows before adding.
  • If dough is sticky, refrigerate for 30 minutes before baking.
