For the Sandwiches

slices
sandwich bread
white, wheat, or sourdough work well

tablespoons
mayonnaise
8
ounces
sliced turkey
deli or leftover roasted turkey

ounces
Monterrey Jack cheese
sliced

medium
red onion
thinly sliced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
to taste

honey Dijon mustard

butter
softened
Instructions
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
Layer turkey, cheese, onion, and mustard on the unbuttered side of half the slices, then top with the remaining slices.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
Cook sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
