Ingredients
  

For the Burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best juiciness)
  • 6 small flour tortillas (soft taco size)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • cups shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter (for the pan)

Toppings (Choose Your Favorites)

  • shredded lettuce
  • diced tomatoes
  • pickles
  • sliced onions (raw or caramelized)

Burger Sauce (Optional but Recommended)

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Form the beef mixture into patties and cook until browned on both sides.
  • Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  • Place the cooked patties on tortillas and top with cheese and your favorite toppings.
  • Mix the ingredients for the burger sauce in a bowl, if using, and drizzle over the top.
