Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes about 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 unbaked pie crust store-bought or homemade

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl until smooth.
  • Pour filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  • Cool completely before slicing.

  • Use roasted sweet potatoes for deeper flavor.
  • Check pie at 50 minutes to avoid overbaking.
