Ingredients
  

For the Gratin

  • 2 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Layer the sliced sweet potatoes and cranberries in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix heavy cream, Gruyère cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Pour over the sweet potatoes and cranberries.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Notes

This dish is perfect for holiday gatherings. You can add nuts for extra crunch if desired.
