Super Moist Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

A moist and flavorful banana bread loaded with chocolate chips.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour 180g
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter 115g, melted and cooled slightly
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil 60mL
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar 150g
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups mashed ripe bananas 360g, about 3-4 medium bananas
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 170g

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter, vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Stir in the mashed bananas.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  • Gently mix in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
