Ingredients
  

For the Pastry

  • 1 sheet refrigerated puff pastry or crescent dough thawed

For the Filling

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Brush melted butter on the pastry.
  • Combine granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered pastry.
  • Roll the pastry tightly into a log and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the pieces on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor. Make sure to serve warm for the best taste.
