Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 4 cups sliced strawberries
  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 oz Cool Whip

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well and press into the bottom of a serving dish.
  • In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip and then layer over the pretzel crust. Top with sliced strawberries.

Notes

This salad is best served chilled. You can prepare it a few hours ahead of time.
