For the Dough

warm milk

active dry yeast

granulated sugar

melted

egg

For the Filling

cream cheese
softened

cup
powdered sugar

For the Glaze

powdered sugar
for the glaze

milk

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, salt, melted butter, and the egg to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for about 1 hour.
Once risen, roll out the dough and cut into donut shapes. Let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a fryer. Fry donuts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and strawberry jam for the filling.
Once donuts have cooled, fill them with the cheesecake mixture.
For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Dip the filled donuts in the glaze.
Notes
Allow donuts to cool completely before filling. You can use fresh strawberries for added flavor.
