Instructions
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and vegetable oil. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Tip: This helps tenderize the meat and gives it a great sear when cooking.
Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
Tip: Make this ahead to streamline the cooking process.
Cook the Noodles
Boil the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Tip: Toss with a drizzle of oil to prevent sticking.
Stir-Fry the Beef
Heat a large pan or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Tip: Don’t overcrowd the pan—cook in batches if needed.
Cook the Veggies
In the same pan, add a touch more oil if needed. Stir-fry bell pepper and broccoli for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
Tip: Keep the veggies slightly crunchy for texture.
Combine Everything
Add cooked noodles and beef back to the pan. Pour in the sauce. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Slice Against the Grain: This makes your beef more tender.
Double the Sauce: If you like extra saucy noodles, make 1.5x the sauce recipe.
Spice it Up: Add chili flakes or a dash of sriracha if you like heat.
Don’t Overcook Noodles: Keep them al dente so they don’t get mushy when stir-fried.
