Ingredients
  

For the Pasta

  • 12 oz spaghetti

For the Steak

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced or cut into bite-sized pieces

For the Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • cups grated parmesan cheese

Optional Garnishes

  • chopped parsley for garnish
  • crushed red pepper flakes for garnish
  • extra black pepper for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the sliced steak and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the sliced onion, mushrooms, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and whole milk, and bring to a simmer. Mix in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot with optional garnishes like chopped parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, and extra black pepper.

Notes

You can adjust the seasoning to your taste. Feel free to add more vegetables if desired.
