Ingredients
  

For the Spinach Mixture

  • 1 cup Fresh spinach Chopped
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • to taste teaspoon Salt
  • to taste teaspoon Black pepper

For the Coating

  • 8 sticks Mozzarella string cheese sticks Cut in half
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • for frying cup Vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine fresh spinach, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Take a mozzarella stick, spoon some spinach mixture on top, and wrap it around the stick. Repeat with all sticks.
  • Dredge each wrapped stick in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the sticks until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.

Notes

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
