Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese low-fat or regular based on your preference
  • 1 cup fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 egg egg for egg wash to add a shiny finish

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour can substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional for added flavor
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, chopped spinach, and the egg. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
  • Shape the dough into bagels and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops with the egg wash and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Let the bagels cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed plain or with your favorite spreads.
