Ingredients
  

For the Pasta

  • 8 ounces Penne Pasta Cook until al dente

For the Protein

  • 1 pound Chicken or Shrimp Substitute with mushrooms, zucchini, or tofu for vegetarian option

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning Adjust based on heat preference
  • 1 cup Cream Use plant-based cream for vegan option
  • ½ cup Cheese (optional) Fresh Parmesan, Monterey Jack, or cheddar work well

For the Veggies

  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Any variety
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes or Jalapeños Adjust based on heat preference

Instructions
 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a pan, cook the chicken or shrimp until fully cooked. Add bell peppers and sauté until tender.
  • Add Cajun seasoning, cream, and cheese to the pan. Stir until combined and heated through.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and protein mixture. Serve with red pepper flakes or jalapeños on top.

Notes

You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes.
