Ingredients
  

Casserole

  • 3 cups sweet potatoes
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • cup milk

Topping

  • cup melted butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, flour, and pecans for the topping.
  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.

Notes

Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving for best texture.
