For the Sandwiches

chicken tenders (grilled, fried, or baked)

hoagie rolls or soft sandwich buns

tangy South Carolina mustard-based BBQ sauce

mayonnaise

Dijon mustard

honey

chopped pickles (bread and butter or dill)

red onion, thinly sliced

shredded lettuce or coleslaw
salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
Cook the chicken tenders using your preferred method (grilled, fried, or baked). Season with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and South Carolina mustard-based BBQ sauce.
Slice the hoagie rolls or sandwich buns and lightly toast them if desired.
Spread the mustard sauce mixture on both sides of the rolls.
Layer the cooked chicken tenders, pickles, red onion, and shredded lettuce or coleslaw on the rolls.
Add hot sauce if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, serve fresh. You can also prepare the sauce ahead of time.
