Ingredients
  

For the Cobbler

  • cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar packed
  • 1 ½ cups hot water

For the Topping

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and sugar. Mix well.
  • Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  • In another bowl, mix brown sugar and hot water. Pour over the batter.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle over the top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream for added flavor.
