Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound button mushrooms cleaned and stems trimmed
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, thyme, rosemary, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the mushrooms to the marinade, toss to coat, and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Thread the mushrooms onto the skewers.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the skewers for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until mushrooms are tender and slightly charred.
  • Serve hot.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the mushrooms overnight.
  • Use cremini or portobello mushrooms for a richer taste.
  • Baste with leftover marinade while grilling for added moisture.
