Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup smoked cheese, cubed (such as gouda)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Take a small portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand.
  • Place a cube of smoked cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it, forming a ball.
  • Repeat with the remaining meat and cheese.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Brown the meatballs on all sides, then transfer them to a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

You can use any type of smoked cheese you prefer.
