Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey

Sauces and Seasoning

  • 1 jar salsa 16 oz
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies 10 oz
  • 1 packet taco seasoning 1 oz

Pasta

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta elbow macaroni or small shells

Cheese

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Liquid

  • 1 cup beef broth or water

Optional Ingredients

  • chopped onions optional
  • bell peppers optional
  • black beans optional
  • corn optional

Instructions
 

  • In a slow cooker, combine the ground beef or turkey, salsa, diced tomatoes, and taco seasoning.
  • Add the uncooked pasta and beef broth or water to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the pasta is cooked.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese before serving.

Notes

You can add chopped onions, bell peppers, black beans, or corn for extra flavor and texture.
