Instructions
Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter.
Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place them in the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls in the slow cooker, ensuring all pieces are coated.
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top if using.
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or until set in the center.
Drizzle with the reserved icing and additional maple syrup before serving.
Notes
For a crispier top, broil the casserole in the oven for 2-3 minutes after slow cooking.
