Ingredients
  

For the Casserole

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (each 12.4 oz) icing reserved
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup maple syrup plus more for serving
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans optional

For Greasing

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter.
  • Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place them in the slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls in the slow cooker, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top if using.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or until set in the center.
  • Drizzle with the reserved icing and additional maple syrup before serving.

Notes

For a crispier top, broil the casserole in the oven for 2-3 minutes after slow cooking.
