Ingredients
  

For the Beef

  • 2-3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Seasonings

  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste garlic powder

For the Noodles

  • 12 oz egg noodles

Optional Garnishes

  • fresh parsley for garnish
  • grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  • Add beef broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  • Remove the beef, shred it, and return it to the slow cooker.
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions and then stir them into the beef mixture.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
