Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1–2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon BBQ sauce
  • cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 30 oz bag Crispy Crowns or tater tots
  • dried parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with shredded Colby Jack cheese.
  • Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  • Garnish with dried parsley before serving.

Notes

For a spicy twist, add ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the beef mixture.
