Ingredients
  

For the Melts

  • 1 can Refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 1 cup Cooked shrimp Chopped
  • 1 cup Lump crab meat Canned or fresh
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Can substitute with cheddar
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Softened, can swap with ricotta
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning Or a mix of paprika and celery salt
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley Chopped, can use chives or dill
  • 2 tablespoon Butter Melted, can use olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded mozzarella, cream cheese, Old Bay seasoning, and parsley. Mix well.
  • Open the refrigerated biscuits and separate them. Flatten each biscuit and place a spoonful of the seafood mixture in the center. Fold the biscuit over and seal it.
  • Place the filled biscuits on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These melts are best enjoyed fresh. You can experiment with different cheeses or herbs to customize the flavor.
