Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For the Mix-ins

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup caramel bits or soft caramels chopped
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt flakes for sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips and caramel bits.
  • Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. You can also add nuts for extra crunch if desired.
