For the Cookie Dough

softened

brown sugar
packed

granulated sugar

large eggs

vanilla extract

For the Mix-ins

white chocolate chips

cup
caramel bits or soft caramels
chopped

teaspoon
sea salt flakes
for sprinkling
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the white chocolate chips and caramel bits.
Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. You can also add nuts for extra crunch if desired.
