Ingredients
  

  • 1 package 9 oz oyster crackers
  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar light or dark
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt flaky sea salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread oyster crackers evenly.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan. Add brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir until smooth and bubbling.
  • Boil caramel for 2–3 minutes until thickened. Pour over crackers and toss gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle salt evenly over the coated crackers.
  • Bake for 7–9 minutes until caramel bubbles and slightly darkens.
  • Cool completely on tray. Break into clusters and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Add chopped nuts or chocolate drizzle for variation.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • Use cupcake liners for portioned snacks or gifting.
  • Swap vanilla for maple extract or add cayenne for a spicy kick.
