Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey

Sauce

  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies (undrained)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh cilantro or parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the Rotel tomatoes, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, taco seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  • Mix the cooked pasta into the skillet with the sauce. Stir to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish is versatile. You can adjust the seasonings to your taste or add vegetables like bell peppers.
