  • 4 cups of water divided
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon peel
  • 1 ½ cups frozen thawed triple berry blend or 2 cups fresh berries

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves, then let cool.
  • In a large pitcher, mix the lemon juice, lemon peel, and remaining 3 cups of water.
  • Add the sugar syrup to the pitcher and stir well.
  • Mash the berries lightly and add them to the lemonade.
  • Stir, chill, and serve over ice.
