Ingredients
  

For the Steak and Vegetables

  • 1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye, sirloin, or top round)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 each bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

For Topping

  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • to garnish fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until softened.
  • Add the sliced steak, mushrooms, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked through.
  • Top the mixture with shredded cheese. Allow it to melt slightly before serving.
  • Serve in bowls and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
