For the Filling

chopped pecans

brown sugar

corn syrup

unsalted butter, melted

vanilla extract

For the Dough

package (8 oz)
refrigerated crescent roll dough

egg
beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix together pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best flavor. You can top with whipped cream if desired.
