Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup light or dark
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon optional

For the Dough

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 1 egg egg wash mixed with 1 tablespoon water for brushing
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture on the wider end of each triangle and roll it up towards the point.
  • Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet and brush the tops with the egg wash.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can sprinkle extra cinnamon on top before baking.
