Ingredients
  

For the Biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • ¾ cup cold buttermilk
  • 1 cup fresh peaches, diced

For the Vanilla Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  • Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in the buttermilk and diced peaches until just combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuits before serving.
