Ingredients
  

For the Biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups buttermilk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups canned or fresh diced peaches, drained if using canned
  • ¼ cup peach juice or syrup, from canned peaches or fresh puree

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • Stir in the buttermilk and melted butter until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the diced peaches and peach juice or syrup.
  • Spoon the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • While the biscuits are baking, prepare the glaze by combining the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Once the biscuits are done, drizzle the glaze over them while they are still warm.

Notes

These biscuits can be served warm with additional peach slices or syrup for extra flavor.
