In a skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned.
Add the rice, chicken broth, BBQ sauce, honey, and mixed vegetables to the skillet. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked and chicken is tender.
Fluff the rice and serve hot.
Notes
You can use any mix of vegetables you prefer. Adjust the level of BBQ sauce and honey to taste.
