Ingredients
  

For the Clusters

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped and lightly toasted

Optional Drizzle

  • ½ cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips for drizzle

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring until it reaches a boil. Let it boil for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans until well combined. Drop spoonfuls onto a lined baking sheet.
  • If using, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over clusters. Let set until firm.

Notes

Store clusters in an airtight container at room temperature. You can also use different nuts or add dried fruit for variation.
