Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)

Chicken and Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken cubes and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Add butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Add mozzarella cheese and mix until smooth.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
