Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Sandwich

  • 2 ripe avocados sliced
  • ½ lemon Juice of
  • 4 slices cheese (cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella)
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • to taste Romaine or butter lettuce
  • 8 slices hearty bread (sourdough, ciabatta, or whole grain)

Creamy Sandwich Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken breasts with the mixture.
  • Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and let it rest.
  • While the chicken cools, prepare the creamy sandwich sauce by mixing mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Toast the bread slices on the grill or in a toaster if desired.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and assemble the sandwiches with bread, chicken, avocado, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and sauce.
  • Top with another slice of bread and serve.

Notes

You can add other toppings like onion or pickles for extra flavor.
