Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 1 teaspoon salt omit completely if your lemon pepper seasoning contains salt
  • 4 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts approximately 2-2 ½ pounds total, see Notes
  • 1 lemon sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • teaspoon additional seasoning more or less to taste

For Garnish

  • chopped parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and lemon pepper seasoning.
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the chicken. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 10 minutes per side.
  • During the last few minutes, add the lemon slices to the skillet.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust seasonings to your taste. This dish pairs well with rice or vegetables.
