For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
For the Filling:
- 3 large eggs
- ¾ cup light corn syrup
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the melted butter, flour, and granulated sugar until a crumbly dough forms.
Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the baking pan.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
