Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spaghetti broken into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 2 ounces sliced pepperoni about 30 slices

Sauce:

  • 2 cups marinara sauce divided
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼-½ teaspoon red pepper flakes depending on taste
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • cup ea. favorite pizza toppings; sausage bacon bits, diced ham, sliced olives, bell peppers, pepperoncini

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain.
  • Brown ground beef with onion, garlic, and mushrooms in a skillet.
  • Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the beef mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Mix cooked spaghetti with half the sauce in a baking dish.
  • Layer remaining sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, and other pizza toppings on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze for up to 1 month.
