- 8 oz spaghetti broken into 2-inch pieces
- 1 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese shredded
- 2 ounces sliced pepperoni about 30 slices
Sauce:
- 2 cups marinara sauce divided
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼-½ teaspoon red pepper flakes depending on taste
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 cup mushrooms
- ⅓ cup ea. favorite pizza toppings; sausage bacon bits, diced ham, sliced olives, bell peppers, pepperoncini
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain.
Brown ground beef with onion, garlic, and mushrooms in a skillet.
Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the beef mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Mix cooked spaghetti with half the sauce in a baking dish.
Layer remaining sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, and other pizza toppings on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
