  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix cake mix, egg, melted butter, pumpkin puree, and vanilla for the base.
  • Press into a greased baking dish.
  • Beat cream cheese, eggs, vanilla, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and spices for the filling.
  • Add powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
  • Pour filling over the cake base.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Let cool.
  • Beat cream cheese, butter, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla for frosting.
  • Spread frosting over cooled cake.
