Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese, parsley, thyme, and rosemary.
  • In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  • Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, brush the top with melted butter before baking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • You can use dried herbs if fresh ones are unavailable.
