Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper plus more to taste for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 pound beef cube steaks
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, black pepper, seasoned salt, and garlic powder in a shallow dish.
  • Coat each cube steak evenly with the flour mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Remove steaks and set aside.
  • Pour beef broth into the skillet and scrape up any browned bits.
  • Return the steaks to the skillet, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with extra black pepper if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the broth.
