Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted (for topping)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar for topping
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour into the loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Brush melted butter over the warm bread and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix on top.
  • Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature eggs for better mixing.
  • Check doneness with a toothpick at 45 minutes.
  • Let bread cool completely before slicing to avoid crumbling.
