Ingredients
  

  • 2 sticks 1 cup salted butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 ¼ cups holiday M&M’s
  • 1 cup mini pretzel sticks crushed
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
  • Fold in oats, M&M’s, crushed pretzels, and chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough into balls and place on baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • For crispier cookies, bake an extra 1-2 minutes.
  • Substitute M&M’s with other holiday candies if desired.
