- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup plus one tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup granulated sugar for coating
- 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon for coating
In a saucepan, bring water, butter, salt, and sugar to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
Let the dough cool slightly, then mix in vanilla and egg.
Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
Pipe 2-inch strips onto parchment paper.
