Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter softened (two sticks)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chip morsels divided
  • ½ cup red and blue M&M’s

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in 1 cup of white chocolate chips and the M&M’s.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from oven and immediately press the remaining white chocolate chips onto the tops of the cookies.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • For extra color, use more M&M’s on top before baking.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes if it’s too soft to handle.
