Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Whisk in milk, egg, melted butter, and maple syrup until smooth.
Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let muffins cool slightly, then slice in half.
Layer sausage, egg, and cheese between muffin halves.
Serve warm.
Notes
Use any cheese or sausage you prefer. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.
