Ingredients
  

For the Crust

  • 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough or homemade

For the Filling

  • 3 8 oz blocks cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract optional, for holiday flavor

For Topping

  • whipped cream
  • Christmas sprinkles
  • crushed sugar cookies

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • Press the sugar cookie dough into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Mix in the sour cream, vanilla extract, and almond extract until combined.
  • Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set.
  • Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Top with whipped cream, Christmas sprinkles, and crushed sugar cookies before serving.

Notes

This cheesecake can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
