Instructions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, eggnog, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and dark rum until well combined.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Dip each slice of bread into the batter, allowing it to soak briefly, then place it in the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Serve the French toast warm with whipped cream and maple syrup.
